Visit to faxinalense community marks second day of the pilot test for the 12th Census of Agriculture, Forestry and Aquaculture in Irati (PR)

The municipality of Irati (PR) receives, this Tuesday (12), the second day of the pilot test for the Census of Agriculture, Forestry and Aquaculture conducted by the IBGE. The operation is part of a preparatory step of fundamental importance to the national survey.
Joyce Mryzcka, IBGE's supervisor of Agricultural Surveys in the state of Paraná, on the first day: “It was positive and we got to visit the faxinalenses, where we could also see their specific way of dealing with livestock.”
Superintendent Tobias Faria, spoke about the expectation for the second day. “The teams went into the field and came back to the regular work, interviews; we count on the priceless cooperation of observers who will write reports with their impressions to help improve data collection."
Among the innovations in this edition is the inclusion eof agri-food systems of traditional communities, which increases the representativeness of these groups in the statistical portrait of the country.
