The IBGE goes on this Tuesday (12) with the second day of the 2nd pilot test of the 12th Census of Agriculture, Forestry and Aquaculture in Corumbá (MS). The initiative is part of a strategic testing phase before the survey is carried out throughout Brazil.
The State team brought together approximately 30 civil servants dedicated to on-site operations. The initiative aims to evaluate procedures, logistics and data collection strategies in areas with challenging geographical and economic characteristics, typical of one of the most complex regions in the country.
The fieldwork includes areas distributed across three districts — Albuquerque, Nhecolândia, and Porto Esperança — as well as communities and settlements such as the Guató Indigenous Territory and the Tamarineiro, Mato Grande, and São Gabriel settlements. The scope also includes sectors of the urban area surrounding the city, ensuring the observation of distinct dynamics between rural and urban areas.
