IBGE will release, on May 9, "2022 Population Census: Quilombolas: Main characteristics of persons and urban and rural households: Population Results"


The IBGE will release, at 10 am on May 9, the results of "2022 Population Census: Quilombolas: Main characteristics of persons and urban and rural households", a survey that presents information about the main demographic and social characteristics of quilombolas and of households with at least one quilombola resident, which, disaggregated by urban and rural housing units, represent important attributes for the knowledge of reality and the exercise of citizenship within this population group. 

Due to the size of the survey, the results will allow the exploration of information at different geographic levels, such as Major Regions, Federation Units, Municipalities, Legal Amazon, Legal Amazon by Federation Units, Official Quilombola Territories and Quilombola Territories by Federation Units.
