On October 16, IBGE will release In the enumerator´s lenses: 1st 2022 Population Census Photo Award


Available in printed and digital formats, the publication will be released on October 16, 2023 at 2 PM, during the awarding ceremony of the winners of the 1st 2022 Population Census Photo Award at the Legislative Assembly of the State of São Paulo (ALESP). 

The work presents a collection of the 164 finalist images of the 1st 2022 Population Census Photo Award, elected by IBGE officers in an on-line poll. The final selection of the winners of each award category - Urban Landscapes, Rural Landscapes and Housing - was also through an on-line poll open to the public, as well as in an exhibition at the Pituaçu Metro Station in Salvador, Bahia.  

Registered by their data collection mobile devices (DMCs), the pictures document several aspects of the urban and rural landscapes, as well as of housing, perceived during the data collection of the 2022 Census.  

This publication will be available on the IBGE portal as well.
