On June 7 at 10 AM, the IBGE will release the Continuous National Household Sample Survey: Education 2022. The data presented are based on the extended questionnaire and have the second quarter of 2022 as reference, being geographically detailed for Brazil and Major Regions. The analytical commentaries include a number of indicators on education, highlighting: illiteracy among persons aged 15 years and over; schooling level and average number of schooling years of persons aged 25 years and over; enrollment rate, per age bracket; adjusted net school attendance rate, by education level; reasons for not attending school or daycare of children up to 3 years of age; dropout of persons aged between 14 and 29 years; study condition and employment status of persons aged between 15 and 29 years; and aspects of the professional education (technological education, medium level technical courses and courses of professional qualification). Whenever appropriate, the results are also compared with the major goals of the National Education Plan - PNE (Law no. 13,005 of June 25, 2014), which rules the right to basic education, universalization of the compulsory education, enhancement of the educational opportunities and reduction of inequalities, thus providing the follow up of these guidelines.
