Description:
It was observed that the lik https://brasil500anos.ibge.gov.br/territorio-brasileiro-e-povoamento/negros/a-heranca-cultural-negra-e-racismo.html led to a text whose content was not contextualized, and, consequently, inadequate. That occurred due to the adaptation of the original text from the chapter "black presence: conflicts and encounters", by João José Reis, who was one of the authors of the book Brazil - 500 years of settlement.
Actions: The initial part of the text was replaced by an original excerpt written by the author, as stated in the printed version.

Correction of the unit of measurement of the herd of poultry in the 2017 Census of Agriculture Preliminary Results

Description:
An error was detected in the unit of measurement for "head" in the release of the 2017 Census of Agriculture Preliminary Results for the herd of chicken. The value presented refers to the total herd, and it is not necessary to multiply it by 1,000 (x 1,000) as before.
Actions: Change of the unit of measurement "x 1.000 head" into "head"in the release of the 2017 Census of Agriculture Preliminary Results for the herd of chicken. Correction was necessary on the 2017 Census of Agriculture Census page (https://censoagro2017.ibge.gov.br) and in the channel Cities@ (https://cidades.ibge.gov.br). On the IBGE website, the unit of measurement had been properly displayed.

Description: An error in the representation of the lines of parallels and meridians demanded the replacement of the Political and Physical Map of the State of Rio Grande do Sul, at the 1:1,000,000 scale.

Replacement of the Regional Urban Division database

It was necessry to change the files on the Regional-Urban Division database, available on the IBGE website. The Federation Unit of Piauí, where the Nazária municipality is located, was listed under code no. 26, instead of the right code, 22.
Action: The database was corrected and replaced on the IBGE website.

Description:
Due to the delay in the inclusion of structural survey results in SIDRA, there was a delay in the release of data relative to the Production of Wild Crop Harvesting and Silviculture (PEVS), besides unavailability of other types of information on the IBGE website.
Actions: The problem was solved and the systems went back to normal at 10:35 am today (20/09/2018).

Replacement of the database of the Regional Division of Brazil into Immediate and Intermediate Geographic Areas - 2017

Description:
Due to the necessary revision of the composition into Geographic Areas of the Regional Division of Brazil for the states of Maranhão and Pernambuco, we have altered the results presented in Map 1, Map 2 and in the Systematic Chart of the Regional Division of Brazil into Immediate and Intermediate Geographic Areas - 2017. In Maranhão, the Immediate Geographic Area of São Luís is now formed by tbe municipalities of São Luís, Alcântara, Raposa, Paço do Lumiar, São José de Ribamar, Rosário, Bacabeira, Santa Rita, Axixá, Cachoeira Grande, Icatu, Morros and Presidente Juscelino. In Pernambuco, the Immediate Geographic Area of Surubim is now formed by the municipalities of Surubim, Casinhas, Santa Maria do Cambucá, Vertentes do Lério, Frei Miguelinho, Vertentes and Taguaritinga do Norte; the municipality of São Bento do Una is included in the RGI of Belo Jardim – Pesqueira, and the municipalities of Escada, Ribeirão, Quipapá, Cortês and Primavera leave the RGI of Recife, with the creation of the RGI of Escada-Ribeirão, which encompasses those same municipalities.

Replacement of color-and-contrast-adjusted photos for original images

Description:
It was observed that some photographs nominated for the Census of Agricultur Photo Award, made available on the voting platform, had undergone olor and contrast adjustments not allowed by the rules.
Actions: The adjusted photographs were removed from the website and their original versions were uploaded in place. All those who had already voted in this phase of the contest were informed of the error, so that they can vote again if desired.
