Minister Bruno Moretti (MPO) congratulates the IBGE on its 90th anniversary

The minister of Planning and Budget, Bruno Moretti, congratulated the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) on its 90th anniversary, on Friday (29).

In his first official visit to the IBGE in Rio de Janeiro, Moretti participated in activities related to the technical work of the Institute. Among the topics approached were census operations, production of surveys and indicators, technological innovation initiatives, teaching and training activities, besides issues related to institutional budget and communication.

The minister was an IBGE official and worked for the Directorate of Surveys after passing the competitive exam of 2002.
