IBGE releases weekly Schedule with the activities from May 25 to 29

The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) today (May 25) released the IBGE Schedule for the week of May 25-29. This edition includes internal and external meetings, events, and appointments from various areas of the Institute, including the Presidency, the Directorates and Advisory Offices, the State Superintendencies, and the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE).
Since 2024, the IBGE Schedule has been published every Monday at 9 am, and includes the activities for the coming days, starting from the date of publication. See the complete IBGE schedule on the IBGE Schedule information channel.
Presidency
On Monday (May 25), at 3 pm, members of the Presidency will participate in the launch of the Survey of Innovation – PINTEC 2025, at Casa Brasil IBGE, in Rio de Janeiro.
On Tuesday (26), at 9 am, representatives of the Presidency will participate in the launch of the IDHM (Municipal Human Development Index) Report - UNDP Brazil, in Brasília.
On Wednesday (27), at 9:30 am, the Presidency team will participate in a follow-up meeting with the Operational Database (BDO) team.
On Thursday (28), at 2 pm, members of the Presidency will participate in a Technical Alignment meeting for the 12th Census of Agriculture.
On Friday (29), at 10 am, representatives of the Presidency will participate in the seminar “90 Years: The History of IBGE in the Presidency of the Republic (1936-1964)” and the ceremony for the launch of the Medal and the National Event of IBGE's 90th anniversary, at Palácio do Catete, in Rio de Janeiro.
Directorates and Advisory Offices
On Monday (25), all day, members of the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) will participate in the XV International Seminar on Cultural Policies, at the Rui Barbosa Foundation, in Rio de Janeiro.
On Tuesday (26), all day, the DPE team will participate in a crop supervision and monitoring trip in Santa Catarina.
On Wednesday (27), at 9 am, the Social Communication Coordination (CCS) team will release the National Consumer Price Index 15.
On Thursday (28), at 9 am, the Social Communication Coordination (CCS) team will release the Continuous Monthly National Household Sample Survey.
On Friday (29), at 9 am, the Social Communication Coordination team will release the Quarterly National Accounts System.
State Superintendencies
On Monday (25), all day, members of the Espírito Santo State Superintendency (SES/ES) will be collecting surveys through IBGE agencies in the state.
On Tuesday (26), at 2:30 pm, representatives of the Bahia State Superintendency (SES/BA) will be conducting Sidra training for the Secretariat of Administration (SAEB).
On Wednesday (27), at 9 am, the team from the Rio Grande do Sul State Superintendency (SES/RS) will be participating in the 2026 Administrative Meeting.
On Thursday (28), at 8 am, members of the Santa Catarina State Superintendency (SES/SC) will be collecting data for the Continuous National Household Sample Survey (PNADC) in several municipalities.
On Friday (29), at 8 am, representatives from the State Superintendence of Piauí (SES/PI) will collect research data from IBGE agencies in the state.
