The executive undersecretary of Niterói City Hall, Marcelo Martins, was at the IBGE facility and explored the figures of the municipality's indigenous population, in addition to other information from the database. “The IBGE’s participation in this Caravan is fundamental, as its statistical surveys allow all municipalities, states and the Union to develop public policies to serve the population effectively. Niterói, for example, always uses the results of the last Census carried out in 2022.”

We showed up close the work done by the data collection network, which is where it all begins down to the production of knowledge through our huge database. The IBGE information portrays Brazil in the most diverse areas.”
