IBGE releases weekly Schedule with activities for March 9-13

The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) today (February 23) released the IBGE Schedule for the week of March 9-13. This edition includes internal and external meetings, events, and appointments from various areas of the Institute, including the Presidency, Directorates and Advisory Offices, State Superintendencies and the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE).
Since 2024, the IBGE Schedule has been published every Monday at 9 am and includes the calendar for the coming days, starting from the date of publication. See the complete schedule on the IBGE Schedule information channel.
Presidency
On Monday (9), at 10 am, members of the Presidency will participate in the managerial meeting of the General Census Operations Division (CGOC).
On Tuesday (10), at 10 am, representatives of the Presidency will participate in the Seminar IBGE International Presence.
On Wednesday (11), at 9: 30 am, members of the Presidency will attend a monitoring meeting with a team working in the Operational Database (BDO).
On Thursday (5), at 2 pm, representatives of the presidency will participate in the weekly meeting for Technical Aligment of the 12th Census of Agriculture.
Directorates and Advisories
On Monday (09), at 2 pm, the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) will have a meeting about the 2nd Pilot Test of PNS 2026 - April.
On Wednesday (11), at 9 am, a team from the Social Communication Division (CCS) will release the Monthly Survey of Trade.
On Thursday (12), at 9 am, a team from the Social Communication Division (CCS) will release the Extended National Consumer Price Index. Another release will be the National System of Costs Survey and Indexes of Construction.
On Thursday (12), at 9 am, the Directorate of Surveys (DPE), will host the Weekly Meeting of Coordinators.
On Friday (13), at 9 am, a team from the Social Communication Division (CCS) will release the Monthly Survey of Services and also, the Systematice Survey of Agricultural Production and the Monthly Survey of Industry: Regional Physical Production.
State Superintendencies
On Monday (9), during the entire man, a team from the IBGE State Superintendency in Espírito Santos (SES/ES) will have a managerial meeting with the head of IBGE Sections and Branches in the state.
On Tuesday (10), a team from the IBGE State Superintendency in Sergipe (SES/SE) will spend the day collecting data for PNAD-C in several municipalities.
On Wednesday (11), at 10 am, representatives of the IBGE State Superintendency in the Federal District (SES/DF) will participate in a meeting with the product manager of BC100-MG for monitoring and update of the status of the project on construction of the cartographic construction 1:100,000 of Minas Gerais by means of GGC-DF.
On Thursday (12), from 9 am to 5 pm, members of the IBGE State Superintendency in Minas Gerais (MG) will conduct a Training Session in 2026 for Structural Business Surveys - Systems.
On Friday (13), from 8 am to 5 pm, members of the IBGE State Superintendency in Santa Catarina (SES/SC) will start data collection for the Continuous National household Sample Survey (PNADC) in a number of municipalities.
