In Aracaju (SE), IBGE will release results of the 2022 Census: Nuptiality and Family

Next Wednesday (5), the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) will release the results of the 2022 Population Census: Nuptiality and Family: Preliminary sample results. The public press conference will begin at 9:30 am at the Sergipe Memorial Prof. Jouberto Uchôa, in Aracaju. Accreditation will begin at 8:30 am.
The release brings information regarding the nuptiality of persons aged 10 years and over, disaggregated by marital status and nature of the marital union, as well as family data detailed by the existence or not of cohabiting families, number of components and family composition. The results are also disaggregated by age, sex, color or race, major groups of declared religions, schooling level and per capita income classes, and will be made available for Brazil, Major Regions, states and municipalities and other geographies based on municipalities.
In addition to the in-person press conference, the release will also be broadcast on the IBGE's social media and on the IBGE Portal, in the Digital IBGE section. The results can be accessed on the IBGE portal, IBGE News Agency, SIDRA and on the Census Overview.

Free workshop will show Census results
Following the event, the IBGE will hold the workshop A Territory of Information: Potentialities of the 2022 Census Data, which will seek to present, in addition to the technical and operational aspects of the survey, its potential for decision-making by local managers.
In the workshop, which is free, important aspects of the survey, its potential and tools for accessing data from the 2022 Census will be presented. Among the topics covered are new features of the 2022 Census, ways to access the results and practical activities. Registration can be made through the IBGE Store.
