The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) released today (14) the schedule for this week. The document includes internal and external meetings, events and appointments of the Presidency, Directorates and Advisories, IBGE State Superintendencies and the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE).
Since January, the IBGE weekly schedule has been released every Monday at 9 am. Check the complete schedule for this week on the IBGE Schedule channel.
Presidency
On Monday (14), at 9 am, a team from the Presidency of the IBGE participates in the event TRT 15th Area: “80 years of Labor Courts in Campinas – yesterday, today and tomorrow.”
On Tuesday (15), at 9 am, a team from the presidency will participate in the IV Brazilian Symposium of Spatial Data Infrastructure - 16th anniversary of INDE – Intelligent IDEs for Governance and Public Policies.
On Wednesday (16), at 10am, there will be a meeting with the Brazilian National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP). Also on Wednesday, at 2 pm, a team from the Presidency will participate in a meeting for monitoring of the Operational Database (BDO) team.
On Thursday (17), at 9:30 am, there will be the management meeting of the Coordination General of Census Operations (CGOC). On the same day, at 2 pm, a meeting about the Schedule of Census Operations of the CGOC.
Directorates and Advisories
On Monday (14), the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) participates in the webinar “Population projections of the IBGE: update and impacts on health indicators”. Meanwhile the Directorate of Geosciences throughout the day, will be attending the training campaign for Quality Control and Collection of Geographic Names, in the city of Governador Valadares (MG).
On Tuesday (15), during the entire day, DPE will be attending the event “Launch of The World Bank’s: The Changing Wealth of Nations.” At 9 am, the Coordination for Online Services and Experience (CEON) realiza a divulgação do Levantamento Sistemático da Produção Agrícola (LSPA).
On Wednesday (16), at 10 am, the Department of Information Dissemination (CDDI/GDI) holds the 4th Meeting of the Working Group: Management the relationship with informants – Assessment of Risks. On the same day, during the entire day, DGC participates in the IV Brazilian Symposium of Spatial Data Infrastructure (SBIDE IV).
On Thursday (17), the Directorate of Geosciences will be attending, once more, the IV Brazilian Symposium of Spatial Data Infrastructure (SBIDE IV), during the enrire day. At 10 am, the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE) will attend the lecture PPVE Ess UFRJ.
On Friday (18), at 10 am, DPE will release the National Household Sample Survey (PNAD-C): Child labor of children aged 5 to 17.
State Superintendencies
On Monday (14), during the entire day, the State Superintendency in Ceará (SES/CE) conducts a training program for the 2025 Forecast and Annual Surveys of 2024 in the city of Crato.
On Tuesday (15), during the entire day, the State Superintendency in Ceará in Mato Grosso do Sul (SES/MS) will collect data at the Corumbá branch.
